These Terms & Conditions govern every booking, enquiry, itinerary, quotation and travel service provided by MonVoyage (“MonVoyage”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a travel consultancy and journey-design brand. By submitting an enquiry, paying a deposit, or accepting a proposed itinerary, the traveller (“you”, “guest”, “client”) confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms in full, on behalf of themselves and every member of their travelling party.
Where a booking is made on behalf of another person or group — including group departures under MonVoyage Exclusive, Only Women Tour or Honeymooners — the person making the booking warrants that they are authorised to accept these Terms on behalf of every traveller included in that booking, and accepts joint responsibility for all payments and obligations arising from it.
MonVoyage acts as a travel designer, consultant and booking intermediary. We curate itineraries and arrange services on your behalf with independent third-party suppliers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, resorts, homestays, houseboats, ground transport operators, guides, restaurants, activity operators and event vendors (“Suppliers”).
Unless explicitly stated in writing, MonVoyage does not itself own, operate, or directly control any accommodation, transport, vessel, aircraft, venue or activity featured in an itinerary. All such services are subject to the independent terms, conditions, cancellation policies and liability limitations of the relevant Supplier, in addition to these Terms.
All itineraries, prices and availability shared by MonVoyage are indicative until confirmed in writing and secured with the applicable deposit. Prices may fluctuate due to currency movements, Supplier revisions, seasonal demand, fuel surcharges, taxes or government levies, and are only locked in upon confirmed booking and receipt of payment.
Cancellations or amendments requested by the traveller are subject to the cancellation schedule stated in the specific journey's quotation, in addition to the independent cancellation policies of each Supplier, which may be more restrictive than MonVoyage's own policy.
Booking deposits, visa fees, permit fees, and any payments already remitted to third-party Suppliers are generally non-refundable. Where a refund is due from a Supplier, MonVoyage will process it on your behalf, less any applicable processing, foreign exchange, or administrative charges, once received from that Supplier.
MonVoyage reserves the right to amend, substitute or reschedule any part of an itinerary where necessitated by circumstances beyond our control, and will make reasonable efforts to offer a comparable alternative.
MonVoyage shall not be held liable for any failure, delay, cancellation, or alteration of services arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemic or epidemic, government action, travel advisories, border closures, civil unrest, strikes, terrorism, war, airline or transport failures, or closures of monuments, religious sites or public spaces.
In such events, MonVoyage will assist travellers in exploring alternative arrangements where reasonably possible, but any additional costs, and any losses arising from non-refundable third-party bookings, shall be the traveller's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Travellers are solely responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas, permits, vaccination certificates and any other travel documentation required for their itinerary, including for international departures such as Sri Lanka, Thailand and Bali, and for confirming these requirements independently with the relevant embassies or consulates.
Travellers are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, dietary requirements, mobility limitations or age-related considerations that may affect participation in any part of the itinerary.
MonVoyage strongly recommends that every traveller purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, baggage loss and personal liability, for the full duration of the journey.
Certain journeys may include activities that carry inherent risk, including but not limited to boating, trekking, island-hopping, wildlife excursions, remote or rural travel, and travel to religious or heritage sites with uneven terrain or limited infrastructure. Travellers voluntarily participate in such activities and accept the risks associated with them.
MonVoyage exercises reasonable care in selecting reputable Suppliers, and on Only Women Tour departures specifically vets accommodation and ground partners for guest safety, but does not warrant or guarantee the safety standards, equipment, or conduct of any third-party operator, and shall not be held liable for injury, illness, loss of life, or property damage arising during the course of the journey, except where directly caused by MonVoyage's own proven negligence.
Itineraries are designed based on information available at the time of planning and may be subject to change due to weather, local regulations, religious or cultural restrictions, or decisions by site authorities. Certain heritage or religious sites — including Lucknow's imambaras — may restrict specific activities irrespective of prior planning; MonVoyage will make reasonable efforts to propose suitable alternatives.
Minor itinerary adjustments made by MonVoyage or its local partners to preserve the spirit and quality of the journey do not constitute a breach of these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MonVoyage's total liability arising out of or in connection with any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by the traveller to MonVoyage for that specific journey. MonVoyage shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.
MonVoyage is not liable for the acts, omissions, negligence, insolvency, or default of any independent Supplier, and any claim relating to services rendered by a Supplier should, in the first instance, be directed to that Supplier, with MonVoyage providing reasonable assistance in escalating such claims.
The traveller agrees to indemnify and hold harmless MonVoyage, its founders, employees, partners and affiliates from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of the traveller's breach of these Terms, misconduct, violation of local laws, or failure to disclose material information relevant to their safety or participation in the journey.
MonVoyage reserves the right to remove any traveller from a journey, without refund, whose conduct is deemed to endanger, harass, or seriously inconvenience other travellers, guides, staff, or Suppliers. On small-group departures — including MonVoyage Exclusive and Only Women Tour — travellers agree to conduct themselves respectfully towards fellow guests, trip leads, local communities, and cultural or religious customs encountered during the journey.
MonVoyage or its representatives may, from time to time, capture photographs or videos during group departures for archival or promotional use. Travellers who do not wish to be featured in such material may inform MonVoyage in writing prior to departure. Testimonials shared voluntarily by travellers may be used in MonVoyage's marketing materials, with names or initials, unless the traveller requests anonymity.
All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise, and are inclusive of applicable taxes at the time of quotation only. Any subsequent change in government levies, GST, tourism taxes, visa fees, or foreign exchange rates prior to final payment may be passed on to the traveller with prior written notice.
All content on this website, including itineraries, copy, the MonVoyage logo, brand names (MonVoyage Exclusive, MonVoyage Privé, MonVoyage Explorer, Only Women Tour, Honeymooners, MonVoyage Buddy) and imagery, is the property of MonVoyage or its licensors and may not be reproduced, copied or distributed without prior written consent.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or a MonVoyage booking shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation, failing which it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at MonVoyage's registered place of business in India.
MonVoyage reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version applicable to a specific booking is the one published on this website at the time that booking is confirmed. Continued use of MonVoyage's services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
